Yes, there are dozens of neighborhoods each with unique characteristics and outstanding restaurants and drinking establishments but you will find that the most of the food, drink, and beauty destinations featured here will be in River North or West Loop. Simply put these are the 2 trendiest Chicago neighborhoods – it’s where you want to be.
River North– located just off of the magnificent mile this neighborhood lying north of the river, south of Chicago avenue is somewhat of a playground for Chicagos young, single 20 and 30 something’s.
West Loop– West Loop is somewhat more eccentric than River north (though that is changing), foodies flock to Randolph street for its uber popular restaurants. a sho
The West Loop is River North’s slightly more mature older sister that went to a liberal arts college.
Other tips
Hubbard St. Is the place to be on Friday and Saturday nights. Lines do get long so try I suggest calling ahead to get on a list. Or have your bravest friend walk up to the bouncer and explain you’re here for a girls weekend and more often then not they’ll escort you right in.
